“Draw face, and mouth, then make fire”

That was what Jacob kept saying we were going to do tonight. I was surprised actually that he remembered that much from last year. Yes, we carved a pumpkin tonight. We let Emma pick out the features and Joe did the carving. I kept the kids busy cutting out paper eyes and mouths to tape on to their own small, white pumpkins (I had to climb into the huge pumpkin boxes at the store and find the white ones for them). 🙂 We had a good night. I’ll try to remember to post a picture when we light the candle inside.
